Although it was recorded on cassette, the sound is good quality. CD documentation makes Benjamim Taubkin enthusiastic, together with Mané Silveira and Teco Cardoso, all from Núcleo Contemporâneo. One of the founders of the São Paulo vanguard, Arrigo Barnabé was noted on the musical scene because of his blend of urban popular music and modern and contemporary classical music. His name is linked to the São Paulo vanguard independent production movement. Thus, the Arrigo Barnabé meeting with Núcleo Contemporâneo founders is special. They also appear on the musical scene as a movement from the musicians´ point of view. In 15 songs, Gigante Negão tells the story of Lúcifer´s rebellion in Paradise when he felt menaced by the creation of Man. He then injects a poison into the archangel who revolts contaminated by Lúcifer´s arguments in the first fight. The plot continues mixing the idea of the Messiah´s arrival with cloning research and the world in the century 23, dominated by the advertising corporations. For the story, Arrigo Barnabé searched for references in different sources, from Goethe to James Joyce.
